Day 01 Arrive Mumbai
Arrive at Mumbai; you will clear customs and
immigration & meet our representative, holding a
play card with your name on it in the arrival
lounge, who will transfer you to the hotel & assist
check-in the hotel.
Day 02 Mumbai (Sightseeing)
After breakfast enjoy a Boat
Ride to
Elephanta Caves.
In the afternoon half day city sightseeing of Mumbai,
as it was formerly known - remains India's city of dreams.
Visit The
Gateway of India which
is Mumbai's most famous landmark, The Gateway of India, is
situated at Apollo Bunder. After that visit The
Prince of Wales Museum -
This museum stands not too far from the Gateway of India.
Day 03 Mumbai - Trivandrum – Kovalam
After breakfast
check-out from the hotel and drive to airport to catch flight to Trivendrum - the capital city of Kerala. On
arriving Trivandrum you will
be met by our representative, holding a play card with your name
on it in the arrival lounge. Then, drive
to
Kovalam which
is one of the loveliest
beaches in the world.
Day 04 Kovalam
In the morning meet yoga and
meditation expert who organizes an early morning yoga session at
the resort. After sumptuous breakfast rejuvenate with refreshing
herbal massages. Spend the afternoon at leisure as you enjoy the
Kerala Tour.
Day 05 : Kovalam -
Trivandrum City - Kovalam
Participate in an early
morning yoga and meditation session
at the resort. After sumptuous
breakfast rejuvenate with refreshing herbal massages and a
tour of Trivandrum City.
Day 06 : Kovalam - Thiruvallam -
Kovalam
Participate in an early
morning yoga and meditation session at the resort.
After sumptuous breakfast rejuvenate with refreshing herbal
massages followed by a boat cruise on Thiruvallam
backwaters.
Day 07 : Kovalam
Participate in an
early
morning yoga and meditation session
at the resort. After sumptuous
breakfast rejuvenate with refreshing herbal massages
followed
by a visit to Kalari, the traditional Kerala health and body
care center.
Day 08 : Kovalam -
Kanyakumari - Kovalam
Participate in an early
morning yoga and meditation session
at the resort. After sumptuous
breakfast rejuvenate with refreshing herbal massages
followed
by
an excursion to Kanyakumari to view the panoramic sunset.
Day 09 Kovalam – Thekkady
After having an early breakfast, drive to one of the best
sanctuaries in India -Periyar wild
life sanctuary. Your
journey to Thekkady is
through breathtaking,
winding, dense rubber, tea and spices plantations.
Do not forget your cameras.
Day
10 Thekkady (Periyar)
Enjoy a morning boat ride for elephant tracking and bird
watching. One can also indulge in wildlife photography and click
some unimaginable pictures. The visit to the Periyar National
Park lasts for about three hours. Return back to the resort for
having breakfast & lunch. You can also opt for taking up a
forest trail and explore the Periyar park surroundings or
bird-watch. Afternoon,
enjoy boating
in the Periyar lake.
From your motor boat, you can watch wild elephants,
wild boars, bisons and dears.
Day 11 Thekkady – Alleppey
After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey which
is famous for its boat races, houseboats, coir products, fish
and lakes. Alappuzha remains prominent on the tourist
attractions of Kerala as one of the major centers for backwater
cruises.
On arrival check-in into Backwater
Resort,
a true copy of Kerala's ancient architecture and ambience brewed
with an array of international amenities. Only few yards from
the starting point of Nehru Trophy Snake Boat Race, awaiting you
here is a wonderful luxurious resort, the abode of total
relaxation for the mind, body and the soul.
Day 12 Kerala HOUSEBOAT
After breakfast enjoy the facilities at the Backwater resort,
relax your mind and body. In the late afternoon board a
houseboat for a cruise through the backwaters of Kerala. On the
boat ride, enjoy magnificent scenery of these palm-shaded
backwaters. Spend the evening on board the house boat enjoying
the exciting night
life in
the lake,
the outstanding food and royal service. Enjoy a good night sleep
under star and moon light in the house boat.
Day 13 Alleppey -
Cochin
After breakfast disembark and drive
to Cochin -
commercial capital of Kerala. The rest of the day is free
for you to explore Cochin on your own and go shopping for spices,
handicrafts and antiques.
There is lot to see and do in Cochin. Among
Kochi's best buy are metalware,
camel-bone carvings, wood carvings, articles made of coconut
shells, bamboo cane, embroidered screw pine mats, grass mats and
several other types of handicrafts.
Kochi also has several antique dealers. Jewellery, readymade
garments, and ethnic hand-woven textiles follow closely. This
evening enjoy the Kathakali
Dance Show.
Day 14 Cochin
After breakfast full day
city of Cochin or "Kochi"- the palm green, commercial capital of
Kerala is known as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea". From time
immemorial, Arabs, Chinese, Dutch, British & Portuguese
seafarers followed the sea route to Kochi & left their
impression on the town. Modern Kochi is thus a splendid mosaic
of these myriad influences. Visit
In the evening in time transfer to the International Airport to
catch flight back home.
