Dear Mr. Anil,
Within the United States, sadly, one hears from time to time of
vacationers who have had the misfortune of becoming involved
with a disreputable travel agent. Therefore, in arranging for
our recent vacation to India with a firm located halfway around
the world from us and with which we did not have any personal
experience, it was largely a matter of faith, trust and hope.
From the moment, we left customs in New Delhi and were greeted
personally by you, we knew that we were in good hands. The
remainder of our two and a half week stay in India only served
to reconfirm this perception. We realize that time and the press
of business does not allow you to personally meet all of your
clients, but circumstances happened to be in our favor.
We found you to be both professional and personable. We felt as
though we could rely on you should any problem develop during
the course of our trip. Due to the rains, a problem did develop.
One of our travel destinations was inaccessible due to
extraordinary flooding. Your firm found us a place to stay for
the night on an emergency basis. You constantly monitored the
situation and the next morning when it was clear that our
destination continued to be inaccessible, you were able to
change our itinerary and put us back on schedule. Cost never
became an issue.
We were met by your agents in other cities, both tour guides and
drivers. All of them upheld the high standards that you have
established. For the bulk of our trip, for a period of ten days,
we had one driver Mr. Satan Singh. I fear that, as westerners,
we were a bad influence on him, but nevertheless after this
period, we were made to feel like family by him. Throughout
sometimes difficult circumstances, Satan remained calm and
friendly. He offered us many insights into Indian culture which
we would have otherwise remained ignorant. We met many friends
whom we maintain a connection with over the internet.
Let me say, "Thank you" or "Dhanyavaad" for a once in a lifetime
experience. We remain connected to India and by the life
changing experience you ensured we would have. When we return to
India, we would not consider doing so without arranging for it
through you. I will recommend use of your agency to close
friends and family. Should you have potential clients who wish
to speak with a real reference, please, have them call me.
In closing, let me repeat my offer made to you in person that
should you find yourself in the Boston, Massachusetts area, you
would give me the honor of hosting you at my home.

We have arrived home exhausted but exhilarated from our trip to Rajastan.
We would like to thank you for all the planning. everything was truly
excellent and the hotels magnificent.
Our commendation to our excellent driver Harry who looked after us
meticulously with every care and attention. we felt very lucky to have such
a caring driver.
Our guides were all excellent and we had good tours.
We were particularly pleased that the guide in Agra insisted we went to the
Taj Mahal on Thursday afternoon as this had not been factored into the tour
but was an ideal time to visit and watch the setting sun.
It was such a shame that our time at the Shiv Nivas Palace which should have
been absolutely wonderful was marred by us being the only guests on the
entire complex not included in the wedding party. if they had suggested we
would have happily moved if advised of the situation in advance and all
would have been perfect. Our friends the grants were much more distressed
than we were as they got no sleep for 2 days marring their enjoyment of the
tour on those days.
I must say that overall our holiday was excellent. the hotels were all very
good and our rooms were really beautiful in many particularly the suits in
Makwana. the hotel did not look good from the outside and we were all
doubtful but the suits we had there were superb and the food in the evening
outside in the gardens were excellent. The local maharajah was there too.
